    Candy Crush                                                                                                                       Candy Crush is a very popular free-to-play video game that was originally created for the social media platform Facebook. Today it is available on numerous platforms including iOS and Android. The purpose of the game is to eventually make a column or row of a minimum of three marchin-coloured candies by swapping adjacent candies. Candy Crush offers the player the choice whether to play with or without money. Candy Crush offers both excitement and relative simplicity, making it an ideal game for both beginners and more experienced players.

    Chess hails from India and its 1500-year history can be traced to the Indian Chaturanga game. The Persians brought chess to the Middle East from where it was later spread to Europe and beyond. Chess has become synonymous with intelligence and is a great game for people who seek strategic challenges. The Mini chess version is compact and thereby an ideal entertainment game for travellers seeking hours of intelligent fun. 

    Uno 

    Uno is a very popular card game enjoyed by millions of people around the world. It is suitable for the entire family and thereby game while travelling. The goal of the game is simple genius – to get rid of your cards as quickly as possible through matching pairs. The game’s name “Uno” means one in Spanish, referring to the game’s rule that the player should shout uno once he or she has only card left. Switch, stop and other unique cards offer an additional layer of exciting twists and plenty of entertainment for both children and adults. 

    Sudoku. 

    Sudoku is a Japanese logic-based number puzzle. While its roots can be traced to 19th century Japan, its international breakthrough came only in the 1980s. The purpose is to fill a 9 x 9 grid with numbers in a way that all rows and columns contain all number from 1 to 9. Sudoku is an ideal travel companion for individuals looking for mathematical challenges and fun with digits. 

    Bingo 

    Bingo is an iconic game that offers plenty of fun for adults and children alike. While different versions exist, the overall goal for players is to mark off numbers on their cards as numbers are drawn randomly. The person who first succeeds in marking off his or her numbers wins by shouting bingo. Road trip bingo apps are handy versions of this popular game while travelling. 

    Black Peter

    Black Peter or Schwarzer Peter is a classic card game of German origin. While it is especially popular among children, it is a great travel game for the whole family. It usually consists of 15 or 18 pairs of cards with Black Peter is a Joker card. The goal of the game is get rid of your cards by collecting pairs while avoiding getting the Black Peter card. The person who ends up with Black Peter loses the game. 

    Battleship 

    Battleship is an entertaining game for two players that combines strategy with guessing game features. Each player places his or her fleet of warships on a paper- or board-based grid. The goal is to guess the location of and sink the opponent’s ships while trying to hide one’s own ships. Battleship is an exciting game that can be enjoyed via an app, online, classic physical version or even as a pencil and paper game. 

    Geography quiz games 

    Geography quiz games are particularly suitable while travelling. Numerous geography quiz games exist online and include questions about the countries of the world and for instance the names of their respective capitals. It can also be other geography related questions such as names of rivers, mountains etc.
